Big Time Rush is an American boy band that specializes in the field of pop. It was formed in 2009. The group is made up of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They initially signed to Nick Records in 2009 before switching to Columbia Records. The group starred in the television series on Nickelodeon with the same title, Big Time Rush. The show aired from November 28th the 29th of 2009 to July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's very first promotional single, "Big Time Rush". The group released three studio albums: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011), and 24/Seven (2013). In 2014, the group stopped performing for an indefinite period that ran through 2021.
